Balance Through Release, Comfort & Clarity

Returning Toward Center

We created Butterfly around balance. Sometimes we are tired but wired, physically tense while mentally exhausted, or ready to relax while still needing to think clearly and move through the day.

Its plants were chosen for complementary qualities: settling, physical release, sensory comfort, clarity, and brightness. Butterfly is about returning toward center.

More Than Skin Care

The botanicals behind Butterfly have traditional and research relationships with the nervous system, muscular and smooth-muscle function, respiratory comfort, digestion, and skin. These relationships explain our formulation thinking; they do not establish that Butterfly treats conditions involving these systems.

Calm and Clarity Together

French lavender and rosewood contribute a settling character. Sweet marjoram brings a traditional relationship with physical release. Peppermint adds cooling freshness and has been studied for alertness and attention, while lemon brings brightness.

These different qualities are intentional. We wanted a botanical experience centered on comfort and clarity, with room for your everyday spark.

Tired but Wired

Feeling exhausted does not always mean feeling ready to rest. We can be mentally foggy and physically wound up at the same time.

Butterfly’s combination makes particular sense in these ordinary moments. Lavender and rosewood bring softness, marjoram contributes to its releasing character, and peppermint and citrus keep the experience fresh.

Breathing and Sensory Comfort

Breathing has long been part of Butterfly’s story, especially through its water-based Spritzer. Peppermint’s menthol can influence the perception of airflow, contributing to the sensation of easier breathing.

That sensory experience is different from improving lung function. Butterfly is not a treatment for asthma or respiratory disease. Bay laurel and sweet marjoram also have traditional respiratory associations that help explain their place in the formula.

The Plants Behind Butterfly

French lavender • Rosewood • Sweet marjoram • Bay laurel • Peppermint • Sweet orange • Lemon

Smaller supporting amounts of jasmine and ylang ylang contribute to the complete botanical character. We begin with the plants and the qualities they bring; their aroma is one of the gifts that comes with them.

One Formula, Different Experiences

Our Spritzer offers an aromatic experience; our cleansers and moisturizer levels bring Butterfly into everyday skin, hair, and body care. Level 3 is light and residue-free, Level 4 offers silky massage glide, and Level 5 is our rich Body Butter.

How a botanical is used matters. Research on orally administered peppermint, for example, does not establish the same digestive effects from applying or inhaling Butterfly. Follow the directions for your individual product.

Thoughtful Botanical Relationships

Several Butterfly plants have overlapping qualities, but complementary ingredients do not automatically establish clinical synergy. We have not conducted a finished-formula clinical trial demonstrating pharmacological synergy.

Some botanicals are intentionally present in small amounts. Thoughtful relationships and conservative concentrations guide our choices.

When Butterfly Makes Sense

Choose Butterfly when you feel tired but wired, tense while needing clarity, restless, or simply ready for a refreshing moment of balance.

Settle → Release → Breathe → Feel → Clarify → Center

A Note About Botanical Research

This story draws from our approved Butterfly Public Report. Individual-plant studies include human, animal, and laboratory research, sometimes using different extracts or routes of use. They do not establish that the finished Butterfly formula will produce the same effects in people. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
