Alywillow moisturizers are organized by Level so you can quickly understand how a moisturizer feels and how rich it is. As the number increases, the moisturizer becomes richer, denser, and longer-lasting.
No single level is “best.” The right choice depends on your skin, the weather, where you're using it, and simply how much moisture feels good to you today.

Which Level Is Right for You?
Level 1 — Barely-there - facial moisturizer
Level 2 — Rich evening recovery - facial moisturizer
Level 3 — Light, water-like moisturizer - body moisturizer
Level 4 — Silky, massage-style moisture - body moisturizer
Level 5 — Rich, concentrated body butter - body moisturizer
Level 6 — Liquid body butter (planned for the future)
Level 7 — Eye and Facial Creams
Level 8 — Rich, moisturizing Lip Balms and Colorsticks
Level 9 — Hardened Salves (planned for the future)
Lightest Moisturizer
Level 1 is the lightest option in the Alywillow moisturizing system. Anytime Facial Moisturizer provides comfortable daily moisture with an exceptionally light, barely-there feel.
It is especially loved by people who dislike the sensation of moisturizer sitting on their skin.
- Best for: Oily, combination, and normal skin
- Feel: Ultra-light and barely there
- Use: Face
- Purpose: Everyday moisture and comfort
- Moisturizing effect: Approximately 6–8 hours

Rich Evening Facial Moisturizer
Level 2 is home to one special Alywillow formula: Ecliptic Evening Treatment.
Designed specifically for evening facial care, Ecliptic combines rich botanical moisture with plants selected for nighttime use. It leaves the skin feeling soft, supple, conditioned, and beautifully cared for by morning.
- Best for: Skin that appreciates richer evening moisture
- Feel: Richer than Level 1 and similar in moisture depth to our Level 4 moisturizers
- Use: Face, in the evening
- Finish: Soft and supple without a heavy facial cream feel
- Moisturizing effect: Approximately 8–10 hours
- Size: 2 oz spray bottle, with refill options available
Light, Water-Like Moisture
Level 3 gives you a remarkably light, water-like feel — without being watered down.
These concentrated botanical moisturizers are ideal when you want moisture without the sensation of a heavier layer on your skin. Even people with naturally dry skin may prefer Level 3 during hot or humid weather.
- Best for: Normal to oily skin, warm weather, or anyone who prefers very light moisture
- Feel: Light liquid spray with very little residue
- Use: Body, face, and hair; individual formulas may have additional suggested uses
- Concentration: No added water or fillers
- Moisturizing effect: Approximately 6–8 hours
- Nut-free: Formulated without coconut, walnut, shea, argan, or other nut-derived ingredients
- Packaging: 4 oz glass bottle with refill options available
Silky Full-Body Moisture
Level 4 brings deeper richness and staying power while maintaining a silky, elegant feel.
With the consistency and glide of a beautiful massage oil, Level 4 spreads easily over the skin and leaves it feeling soft, conditioned, and nourished without the heaviness of a body butter.
- Best for: Normal to dry skin
- Feel: Silky, smooth, and massage-friendly
- Use: Body, face, dry hair ends, and beards; individual formulas may have additional suggested uses
- Concentration: No added water or fillers — a small amount goes a long way
- Moisturizing effect: Approximately 8–10 hours
- Shake before use: We don't rely on conventional synthetic emulsifiers to force natural ingredients to remain artificially uniform
- Nut-free: Formulated without coconut, walnut, shea, argan, or other nut-derived ingredients
Our Richest Everyday Moisturizer
Level 5 is for skin that wants richness. These dense, concentrated botanical butters deliver our deepest everyday moisture and are especially satisfying when skin feels very dry, rough, weathered, or uncomfortable.
No added water or filler. Start with a tiny amount, warm it between your hands until it melts, then massage it into the skin.
- Best for: Normal, dry, very dry, or rough-feeling skin
- Feel: Rich, buttery, concentrated, and long-lasting
- Use: Body, face, dry hair ends, beards, nails, and areas where extra lubrication is desired; always follow the directions for the individual formula
- Moisturizing effect: Approximately 10–12 hours
- How much: Begin with about a pea-sized amount and add more only as needed
- Packaging: 4 oz glass jar
Why can the color, scent, or texture vary?
Plants naturally vary from harvest to harvest. Because Alywillow moisturizers are made with botanical ingredients rather than being standardized with artificial colors, fragrances, and texture modifiers, you may notice natural variations between batches.
For Hair & Beards
Use a very small amount on dry or coarse hair ends and beards to add moisture, softness, and shine. With Level 5, less is usually more.
For Nails & Cuticles
Massage the remaining moisturizer into your nails and cuticles to condition and soften dry-feeling areas.
For Reducing Friction
Many Level 5 formulas can also provide comfortable lubrication on external skin where friction occurs. Because each botanical formula is different, check the individual product directions before using it on particularly sensitive areas.
