Clean Ingredients

by Aliya Trinity, Founder of Alywillow

At Alywillow, we keep things beautifully simple: pure-plant skincare made from real plants and minerals, just as nature designed. No synthetics. No toxins. No fillers. No “lab goo.” Just botanical nourishment, herbal wisdom, and bioavailable plant compounds that your skin can recognize, absorb, and thrive on. This is holistic skincare rooted in ancestral plant medicine and supported by modern understanding of dermal absorption and skin barrier repair. Alywillow is Plants, Minerals, And Nothing Else.

Always Free From the Harsh Stuff

We believe your skin deserves freedom, so all Alywillow products are: Gluten-free skincare, Alcohol-free, Sulfate-free, Paraben-free, Silicone-free, Phthalate-free, Petroleum-free, Artificial fragrance-free, Artificial color-free, Mineral oil-free, Propylene glycol-free, DEA-free, DEET-free, and Never tested on animals. No toxins. No irritants. No compromises.

100% Pure Goodness

Most of our 200+ products are vegan, and all are cruelty-free and hypoallergenic-friendly. A few formulas include organic beeswax or raw, unheated honey, because your skin knows how to use those natural nutrients and responds with balance, strength, and glow. This is nontoxic, herbal, plant-based, and eco-friendly skincare, crafted in small batches with love, intention, and respect for life. Welcome to Alywillow... where skincare is whole, alive, and truly natural again.

Honoring Your Unique Body

At Alywillow, our products are made from pure plants and minerals — nothing artificial, nothing synthetic, nothing engineered in a lab. Because they are alive with natural compounds, they communicate directly with your skin and body. And just like with foods, every body responds in its own unique way.

Many of our plants are rarely found in modern skincare, which means your body may not have encountered them before. Most people experience only soothing, restoring, and strengthening benefits, but it is possible to have a personal sensitivity or plant allergy, even to something natural and gentle.

We honor the body’s wisdom. And we always want you to listen to yours. 💛

How Do You Know If You Have a Plant Sensitivity?

If your skin reacts to a particular product, it may be your body communicating that one of the plants in the formula is not compatible with your unique chemistry. All of the following reactions could be a sign of an allergy or sensitivity to a plant. If any of these reactions occur when exposed to specific plants, let us know so we can help you avoid those plants:

🟡 Respiratory Reactions: Trouble breathing, sneezing, wheezing, coughing, or breathlessness
🟡 Skin Reactions: Itching, rash, hives, redness, burning
🟡 Digestive Issues: Abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting
🟡 Swelling: Eyes, lips, mouth, throat, or other areas
🟡 Sensory Discomfort: Tenderness in cheeks, eyes, or forehead
🟡 Mouth Sensations: Tingling or itching in the mouth
🟡 Severe Reactions: Dizziness or fainting

Request Your Sensitivity Report

We take allergies and sensitivities seriously. While our exact formulations are proprietary and highly protected to support our partners, we list every plant and essential oil we use here. If you have plant allergies or sensitivities, we’re here to help! Simply review the list below and request an Alywillow Sensitivity Report using the form at the bottom of the page. Within about a week, we’ll provide a personalized chart detailing which products are safe for you to use.

Submit all the plants you need to avoid at once (one report per person)
We do not use pet dander, crabgrass, peanuts, or similar allergens. Those are not plants. Requests containing these will not be processed. All products are gluten-free and contain only plants and "safe" minerals.
We cannot check individual plant chemical structures as we don't have time or resources to do that research for you. Please list only plant names.
Check back regularly. New plants are added as we expand our formulations, including limited-time holiday products.

Where Do Our Plants Come From?

We source high-quality plants from around the world and grow some right here in Virginia. Our ingredients include:

  • 🌿 Flowers, bark, needles, resin, leaves, wood, fruit, spices, nuts, seeds, and roots
  • 🌱 Powders, liquids, and essential oils - sourced for therapeutic and medicinal benefits
  • 🌏 Ethically harvested & organically grown whenever possible - without synthetic chemicals
  • 🌳 Sustainably wild-crafted - we respect the environment and never over-harvest
Arapaho

Here's the full list of our ingredients:

We utilize various oils, powders, liquids, and essential oils derived from these plants. Additionally, we utilize several varieties of the same plant. For instance, we are not identifying each type of cedarwood because if you are allergic to one type you are likely allergic (or sensitive) to all types.
