For me, there was a series of events between 2005 and 2007 that led to severe spinal damage that brought intense, unrelenting pain, paralysis, and a level of limitation I had never known before.
This injury changed the course of my life.
Not just in how I moved—but in how I learned to care for my body, how I move, what I can do, and what I can't.
In the beginning, the hardest thing for me, besides the pain, was not being able to lift or hold my newborn son.
Over time, I relearned or found other ways to do almost everything.
And in those early days, I searched for something—anything—that could bring comfort without becoming dependent on pharmaceutical solutions. After all, our ancestors lived without synthetic chemicals and pharmaceutical drugs.
I knew that nature offered the solutions that I needed.
That search became a walk of trust that carried me across our great country, and on a journey that took years before I settled back on the East Coast with an effective solution.
That path also led me to begin creating what would later become Alywillow.
At first, I only made Minty Relief for myself, then I started sharing it with neighbors and friends, and they had the same success I did.
It was seeing the relief that others found that made me realize I should bring this goodness to the public.
Relief without damaging internal organs or causing long-term harm to the body. Relief straight from nature without any synthetic chemicals.
Something simple. Something intentional.
Sometimes it worked great, and sometimes I didn’t feel any relief, but over time, I learned that when applied in layers, the body receives much more support.
I made soaps and moisturizers to hold the formula, and then application was so easy... just wash or moisturize. (I was going to do those things anyway, so it wasn't an extra step to remember, just part of life.)
It became something easy I could reach for, again and again.
