Disappearing Scent

At first, there is a crisp, fresh vinegar scent, but that disappears fast. After about 5 minutes, you can be covered from head to toe with Native Shield, but the scent will be gone.

Before or After the bite

If applied after a mosquito bite, it relieves itching, pain, swelling, and scarring. If applied in advance, it creates a protective barrier against biting insects. This usually repels mosquitoes, horseflies, houseflies, and no-see-ums for a few hours. Reapply more often if you are sweating.

RUB IT ON to repel the bugs

Simply spraying onto your skin isn't enough. You must rub it on your skin for it to repel bugs. 

Does it work on Ticks too?

It is not designed to repel ticks, but you can add 20 drops of Fortify to your Native-Shield bottle for that sweet little enhancement.

Directions for use: 

• ON SKIN: Shake the bottle thoroughly, spray into a cupped hand, and rub the product onto the skin. Rubbing is required for it to activate in the skin.
• ON CLOTHING: Spray on your hair, clothing, and shoes to create a barrier to help protect from biting insects.
• FOR DOGS: apply the product to a handkerchief first and then tie that around the animal. Reapply daily or after getting wet. 
• EXISTING IRRITATIONS: Spray directly on the irritation to reduce itch, swelling, and scarring.

Ingredients:

Alcohol-free witch-hazel, apple cider vinegar, water, aloe vera, organic sunflower oil, and the Native-Shield Formula (therapeutic essential oils). This is a NUT-FREE product.
